Wheelbuild: Campagnolo Record Pista to Mavic Module E2

This is a pair of classic track wheels built for our friendly neighbour at Cicli Boom. The wheels will be used on their latest historical feature, so stick around for more information. Meanwhile, let's have a look in this classic beauty.

This build is based on a pair of Campagnolo Record Pista high flange track hubset. The wheels originally came with  tubular rims, but since the intention was to make the wheels more road/daily use friendly those rims are then replaced with a pair of Mavic Module-E2 box profile clincher rims, each laced in 2-cross pattern with Sapim double-butted spokes. 282mm length spokes are used at the rear, while the front wheel used 283mm.

The rear hub is a single-sided fixed hub.The hub threads are in a remarkably good shape, a compatible Campagnolo cog and lockring would make it perfect.

But of course you can expect the rim valve holes to be aligned with the "Campagnolo" globe. It's my signature.
